The Airshow is the only one in the world to be run by a school and St Jakobi Principal, Daryl Trigg says, “We are very proud to host the Barossa Airshow. It is an Airshow that is quite different in that we aim to cater for the whole family and we ensure that it is a cheap day out.”
The Barossa Airshow first took to the skies in 1998 and has gone on to become a nationally recognised event. “This year we have pilots coming from overseas!!” says Steve Ahrens.
Held on a 600 meter runway at Koch Rd, Rowland Flat there will be non-stop aerial entertainment, stalls, affordable food and drink, static displays, amusements for the kids and something for the whole family. Parking is free and entry is just $20 for Adults, $5 for Children or $50 for a family.
The day starts at 10.00am with a plethora of light aircraft flying in and is followed by the air display at 11.00am.
